Solis ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered group travel planning application owned and operated by Caren Guirguis, a sole proprietor based in California, United States. Our app is available at app.travelsolis.com and our website is at travelsolis.com.

5. Data shared within your group

When you join or create a group trip on Solis, certain profile information is visible to other members of that trip. This includes your name, profile photo, travel style, dietary preferences, budget, and interests — as this information is used to generate a shared itinerary. Please be mindful of what you include in your profile if you are joining trips with people you do not know personally.

Local tips you submit are visible to all logged-in Solis users alongside your display name. If you would like a tip removed, contact us at hellosolistravel@gmail.com and we will action your request promptly.

Booking confirmations you import are visible to all members of the trip they are associated with. They are not shared beyond your trip group.

5a. Feedback data

If you submit feedback through the in-app feedback form, we collect your star rating, the feature you selected, and any comments you provide. This information is stored in our database and is accessible only to the Solis team. We use it solely to improve the product and will not share it with any third parties.

Solis is currently in beta. During this period, data practices, features, and data structures may change as we improve the service. We take reasonable precautions to protect your data, but we recommend that you do not store critically sensitive documents — such as passport scans or financial credentials — within the app during the beta phase.

Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers, which are located in the United States. Firebase implements industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest.

We take reasonable precautions to protect your data, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Solis uses essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and maintain your session. We do not currently use advertising or tracking cookies. Firebase may set cookies as part of its authentication service.

9. Children's privacy

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete your personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice in the app. Continued use of Solis after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

When you delete your account — in the app or by request — we remove your personal data within 30 days. Some anonymised or aggregated contributions — such as local tips that have been viewed by other users — may be retained in de-identified form after account deletion.

If your account has been inactive for 24 months, we may contact you to confirm whether you wish to keep it active. Accounts that remain inactive after that notice period may be closed and their data deleted.

Solis is operated from the United States and your data is processed and stored on servers in the United States. By using Solis, you consent to this transfer.
