Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Solis. By creating an account or using our app, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Solis.
Solis is an AI-powered group travel planning application that helps users create personalised itineraries, manage group expenses, import travel bookings, and discover local tips. The app is available at app.travelsolis.com. Solis is owned and operated by Caren Guirguis, a sole proprietor based in California, United States.
Solis is currently in beta. Features may change, and service availability is not guaranteed during this period.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Solis. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 13 or older. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
To use Solis you must create an account using your email address or a Google account. You are responsible for:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
You agree to use Solis only for lawful purposes. You must not:
You retain ownership of content you create on Solis — including journal entries, local tips, photos, and trip information. By posting content on Solis, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, display, and as necessary reproduce that content for the purpose of operating and improving the service.
Local tips you submit are displayed to other logged-in Solis users alongside your display name. By submitting a local tip, you grant us a licence to display it to other users of the service. If you wish to have a tip removed, contact us at hellosolistravel@gmail.com.
Feedback you submit through the in-app feedback form may be used internally to guide product development. By submitting feedback, you grant us permission to use that feedback without restriction or compensation.
You are solely responsible for the content you post. You must not post content that is false, harmful, defamatory, or that infringes any third party's rights. We do not review all user-generated content and are not liable for any content posted by users.
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or that we deem harmful to our community.
Solis uses artificial intelligence to generate travel itineraries based on your profile and preferences. Please be aware that:
When you create or join a group trip, your profile information is shared with other members of that trip to enable personalised group itinerary generation. By joining a group trip, you consent to this sharing. You are responsible for only joining trips with people you trust.
Trip organisers can invite members and manage trip details. All members of a trip can view shared expenses, bookings, and itineraries.
Booking confirmations you import are shared with all members of the associated trip. They are not accessible to users outside that trip group.
If a member is removed from a trip or deletes their account, their prior contributions — such as expenses or notes — may remain visible to other trip members in anonymised form to preserve the integrity of the shared record.

Solis offers a free tier and a Premium subscription. During the beta period, all features are available free of charge.
When paid subscriptions launch:
Solis is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
Travel involves inherent risks. Solis is a planning tool only. We are not a travel agency, and we are not responsible for any travel-related incidents, cancellations, or losses.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Solis and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of Solis shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
The Solis name, logo, app design, and all original content created by us are our intellectual property and may not be used, copied, or reproduced without our written permission.
User-generated content remains the property of the respective users, subject to the licence granted in Section 5.

Beta users are granted early access to Solis in confidence. We trust you with our product before it is ready for the world. In return, we ask that you respect the confidential nature of that access.
If you become aware of any unauthorised disclosure of Solis confidential information, please notify us immediately at hellosolistravel@gmail.com.
Nothing in this section limits your right to share your honest personal opinion or review of Solis after it has been publicly launched.
You may delete your account at any time directly within the app settings, or by contacting us at hellosolistravel@gmail.com. We will delete your data within 30 days.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, with or without notice.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a notice in the app. Continued use of Solis after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
If you have a dispute with Solis, we ask that you first contact us at hellosolistravel@gmail.com and allow us 30 days to attempt an informal resolution before pursuing formal proceedings.
If informal resolution fails, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Solis shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in California, and the arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.
No class actions: You agree that disputes will be resolved only on an individual basis and not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes not subject to arbitration under Section 15 shall be resolved in the courts of California.
